At Central Zeeland Airport it is possible to follow courses for a pilot’s license. Whether for gliding or motor flying, it’s all possible here.
There is no minimum age for taking flying lessons. The ILenT has set a minimum age of 16 years before a student can perform his first solo flight. The certificate can be issued upon reaching the age of 17. A specific prior education is not required. What one needs is common sense and command of the English language.
You will have to undergo an aeromedical examination. This examination can be passed by a normal healthy person without any problems. The use of glasses does not have to be a problem either. The frequency with which you will be examined depends on your age.
1 x every 5 years if you are younger than 40 years
1 x every 2 years if you are between 40 and 49 years old
1 x per year if you are 50 years or older.
If all this is successful, you can fly all over the world after obtaining your license.
